When I was eight or nine, a local pet store had a Halloween\u00a0coloring contest.\u00a0 When my sister was little she won\u00a0two coloring contests in a row.\u00a0 I decided I\u00a0too should try my hand at the\u00a0arts\u00a0, so I picked up the paper and left.\u00a0 You would think I would never give it it a second thought, but that wasn’t the case. \u00a0I made copy after copy of it. I\u00a0colored page after page.\u00a0 I spent\u00a0days trying to make the\u00a0flawless masterpiece.\u00a0I finally turned in my great work.\u00a0 We found there were only four entries.\u00a0 I, feeling so very happy, left.\u00a0I waited.\u00a0There was no call.\u00a0 We went to the store later and saw the other\u00a0three pictures hanging up.\u00a0 I got beaten by\u00a0three little kids!\u00a0 Their pictures were horrible!Their pictures didn’t even\u00a0look spooky!\u00a0 They were all sunny and happy colors!
